The Goodyear tire company was founded in the year 1898 and the founder was Mr. Frank Seiberling. They consider the number 13 as a lucky charm instead of anunlucky one. When they first started the company there was only 13 employees in it. Charles Goodyear is the inventor of Vulcanized rubber and does not have any connection with the Goodyear Company. But since he made one of the greatest inventions in the rubber industry by inventing the vulcanized rubber, Mr. Seiberling thought of honoring his invention and has named his company after him. The company initially made only poker chips, horseshoe pads and tires for carriages and bicycles.It is a dream for many middle class people to buy a car and they get their car after more hard work.
